The 2005 Sa Va is 100% Merlot. We harvested our Merlot twice, two weeks apart in 2005. The Merlot that produced our Sa Va was the first harvest Merlot.
This seductive wine is filled with layers of black cherry, roasted coffee and sage. Red currant carries over from the nose to the palate and teh backbone of the wine is framed by focused, integrated tannins, finishing with depth and rich fruit.
